“Vibrating Systems” is not only the title of a series of works by Michael Maierhof – it is also the fundamental subject of his artistic research, which has been ongoing for decades. With his work on sound complexes and music that is deliberately not organized by pitch, composer Michael Maierhof (born 1956) has produced a rich and extensive body of work with a very unique sound language. In this concert, you will experience a carefully curated selection of these works, commented on and framed by works by long-time companions, performed by experts in his music.
