The Akademie der Künste’s remit includes the responsibility for managing two museums: the Brecht-Weigel Museum in Berlin Mitte and the Anna Seghers Museum in Berlin Adlershof. The Museums offer visitors a chance to view the studies and homes of the writer Anna Seghers, the actress and theatre director Helene Weigel and the writer Bertolt Brecht, providing an insight into how these three major international figures in the arts world of the twentieth century lived and worked.
