The Climate Group of the European Alliance of Academies cordially invites you to Café Climate at Schloss Bellevue – an event that provides an opportunity to openly discuss the impact of the climate crisis on our daily lives, democracy, art and culture. In a relaxed café setting, international experts, artists and the audience will come together to discuss various topics at different tables – this time on the topic of “Rare Earth”.

Why there is no backup for our soil, what devastating effects wars have on our environment, and which artificial habitats will still be habitable after the collapse of our ecological systems.

The audience will discuss these questions with artist and agroforestry pioneer Maria Gimenez, researcher Benjamin Beuerle and artist Nina Fischer. The discussions will be moderated and summarised by Petja Ivanova, Iris ter Schiphorst, Leon Erhorn and Cécile Wajsbrot, artists who founded the Climate Group as part of the European Alliance of Academies.
