Tia Morgen is a freelance writer, director and producer. In her work, she explores the ambivalences of intimacy, desire and power. In 2025, her two-part audio drama Nixe, which deals with violence in a lesbian relationship, was released on the ARD Audiothek. Prior to this, she produced the radio drama series Desire (WDR 2023) and the multimedia exhibition “Existing and Longing” (2022).
In 2026, further radio plays will be broadcast on Deutschlandfunk and WDR, along with an audio documentary on RBB; this will be followed in 2027 by her debut novel Was wir lieber für uns behalten (working title) published by Suhrkamp. Her work has been recognised with numerous grants and awards. Tia studied psychology, social sciences, anthropology and gender studies.
