The exhibition on travel features works by students from European and German cities who take up aspects such as travel for pleasure, mass tourism and forced travel, and shape them artistically. The starting point were the travel experiences of artists whose archives are kept by the Akademie der Künste, such as Walter Benjamin, Anna Seghers and John Heartfield. For one summer, children can embark on their own journeys at the exhibition, experience adventures and build a fleet of climateneutral vehicles.
In cooperation with AsKI Arbeitskreis selbständiger Kulturinstitute e.V., Goethe-Institut, Chemiepark Bitterfeld-Wolfen.
