Exhibition

Actor Isot Kilian was Bertolt Brecht's assistant dramaturge and director at the Berliner Ensemble and also the poet's last lover. She later described this formative period of her life as “a wonderful and intense time, when dreams were still being fulfilled and the future looked very bright”. The exhibition shows photographies, letters, photos, personal notes and documents from the Akademie der Künste's Isot Kilian Archive.

The exhibition can be seen in the foyer of the Hochschule für Schauspielkunst Ernst Busch. It was created in cooperation between the Brecht-Weigel-Haus and the Akademie der Künste, Berlin and was taken over from the Brecht-Weigel-Haus.
