Exhibition Guided Tours

Accompanying exhibition tours, curator’s tours, tours for visually impaired and blind visitors, and tours for deaf visitors are offered for the changing special exhibitions at the Pariser Platz and Hanseatenweg venues.

Regular Guided Tours

The two museums of the Akademie der Künste, the Brecht-Weigel Museum in Berlin-Mitte and the Anna Seghers Museum in Berlin-Adlershof, can be visited on guided tours. Weekly themed tours, English-language tours, and inclusive tours are available upon request, complementing the offers.

Guided tours in the Akademie building on Pariser Platz offer special insights, for instance, of the Picture Cellar, the library and the Architectural Archives’ Schaudepot (display storage).

Cultural Education Programme

Discovering the World of Art Together

The KUNSTWELTEN (Worlds of Art) cultural education programme is designed for children, young people and adults. Guided tours, talks, workshops, art projects and a variety of inclusive activities are used to convey Akademie themes and the works of its members.

Artists from all disciplines engage with children and young people with empathy, sparking their curiosity and enthusiasm. They introduce their artworks to participants and work with them in collaborative workshops.
