Thomas Brasch has become what he never wanted to become: a legend, a projection surface. Because he did not want to be taken over, neither by the East nor by the West, he remained homeless – in constant contradiction with himself and the circumstances. We will show, among other things, Brasch’s last film The Passenger – Welcome to Germany, which ploughs up unresolved German history, as well as the recently published biographical tour de force Lieber Thomas by Andreas Kleinert.
