Auf dem Seil is the conclusion of Terézia Mora’s fictional trilogy about the life of IT specialist Darius Kopp. Three years have passed since his wife Flora committed suicide. After travelling around Europe with Flora’s ashes and her diary, he finds himself in Sicily, where he pours her ashes and his former life into Mount Etna. A short while later, his 17-year-old niece Lorelei shows up and won’t leave his side. She needs his help – as he needs hers. Kopp goes back to Berlin with her.
