Deutscher Preis für Nature Writing. Marion Poschmann
In cooperation with the Federal Agency for Nature Conservation (BfN) and the Akademie der Künste, publisher Matthes & Seitz Berlin is launching the Deutscher Preis für Nature Writing. The inaugural prize, endowed with € 10,000 and a fellowship on the Baltic island of Vilm, has been awarded to Berlin author Marion Poschmann. The jury, including Jan Wagner and Judith Schalansky, highlighted “in particular the exceptionally precise images of nature and the subtle lyrical evocations of the permeation of an autonomous nature and human cultural activity in Marion Poschmann’s poetry”.
