The Weiskopf-Wedding Prize, awarded for the first time in 2024, is a newly launched foundation prize by the Akademie der Künste, succeeding the former Alex Wedding and F. C. Weiskopf prizes. The prize is awarded for linguistically critical and reflective works or for books for children and young adults. The Literature Section decides on the focus before appointing the jury.
The prize is endowed with 5,000 euros.
