With the “AI Anarchies” fellowship programme, the JUNGE AKADEMIE supported six artists in 2022–23 in developing new works on the topic of artificial intelligence (AI) and ethics as part of a six-month residency programme at the Zentrum für Kunst und Urbanistik (ZK/U) in Berlin.

The artists in the programme were also invited to participate in an interdisciplinary, international Autumn Academy with artists, scientists and members of the Akademie in October 2022. Their projects were exhibited at the final presentation Broken Machines & Wild Imaginings in June and July 2023 at the Akademie der Künste. The programme was funded by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media.
