Kunstfreiheit: Erregungsmechanismen und ihre Folgen

Academy Discussions

Polarizing opinions and collective states of agitation seem to dominate current discussions in our society, particularly in the cultural sphere. A nuanced examination, which is essential for open dialogue and creative freedom, often gets lost in the process.

In the panel discussion, we aim to shed light on the mechanisms behind current examples and the underlying developments – such as cancellations, boycotts, and deplatforming. What means of de-escalation are available, and how can we counteract the resulting societal division? How can we return to a constructive and pluralistic culture of debate and discourse?
