Riefenstahl
Documentary film by Andres Veiel

Film and Talk

As a director, Leni Riefenstahl created iconic images. She always tried to deny her ideological loyalty to the Nazi regime after the Second World War. She only allowed one portrayal of her biography: her own. The estate, which is now accessible, tells a different story. Andres Veiel uses this material to take a fresh look at the life and work of one of the most controversial women of the 20th century.
