Obiora C. Okafor
Obiora C. Okafor, York Research Chair in International and Transnational Legal Studies and Professor of Law at the Osgoode Hall Law School of York University, Toronto. He is the UN Independent Expert on Human Rights and International Solidarity and a former Chairperson of the UN Human Rights Council Advisory Committee. Among his publications are The African Human Rights System, Activist Forces and International Institutions (2007) and Legitimizing Human Rights NGOs: Lessons from Nigeria (2006).
