Reading and Concert

On the Saturday evening of its General Assembly, the Akademie der Künste will bring together artistic works of historical and contemporary significance in a public event. On 9 November, Emmanuelle Bernard (violin) and Clemens Hund-Göschel (piano) will perform Arnold Schönberg’s Phantasy for Violinand Piano op. 47. They will play Ursula Mamlok’s Panta Rhei (Time in Flux) with Constance Ricard (cello). Both composers went into exile in the USA in the 1930s. Kioomars Musayyebi adds two solo sets with classical Persian music on the santoor. Steffen Mensching reads selected texts.
