Wo kommen wir hin “The old film is dead. We believe in the new one.”
The Ulm School of Design (1953–1968) was the most globally influential educational institution for design in Germany after the Bauhaus. Founded in 1962, the school's film department was one of the pioneer institutions for film education in the Federal Republic of Germany. It evolved from the demands of the Oberhausen Manifesto. In films and discussions, the search for new forms of narration in the analysis of the political conflicts of the time will be traced and examined with regard to their current relevance. With Claudia von Alemann, Günther Hörmann, Cornelia Klauß, Alexander Kluge, Jeanine Meerapfel and Edgar Reitz.
This evening is part of "Wo kommen wir hin".
