John Heartfield mastered the art of propaganda through the artistic manipulation of images: His analogue method of photomontage seems surprisingly contemporary in the age of "fake news" and Photoshop. In an online catalogue, his graphic work will be presented in its entirety for the first time. In a panel moderated by Astrid Frohloff, Klaus Staeck, Sebastian Turner and Annette Vowinckel will offer their personal perspectives on Heartfield. They discuss the relevance of his oeuvre and its lasting impact on political and artistic discourse.
