Kurt Bartsch In All the Marvellous Chaos. Correspondence with Wasja Götze
The writer Kurt Bartsch (1937–2010) wielded a sharp pen. He courageously took language at its word, and with his satires he drew the indignation of the GDR leaders on himself. The passionate Berliner moved to the western half of the city in 1980. His archive also includes wonderful letters that he exchanged from the “West” with the artist Wasja Götze in Halle. Martin Brambach and Michael Kind read from the publication edited by Irene Böhme.
