Art and Life. Georg Kaiser – Dramatist of Modernity
Georg Kaiser was one of the most versatile and important German Expressionist dramatists. His plays – one might even say visions – are not only still astonishingly topical today, but anticipate ideas and images of the modern age.
Photos, manuscripts, letters and theatre materials, including objects rarely on display, have been brought together from Kaiser's literary estate in the Akademie der Künste and from holdings in other archives to create a twentieth-century artist's biography.
