Wolf Kampmann
Wolf Kampmann (*1962 in Zwickau, Germany) is a music journalist and writer. He is the author and editor of the Rowohlt Rock-Lexikon, the Reclam Jazz-Lexikon, and the Can Box Book. He lectures in pop history and journalism at SRH University of Popular Arts in Berlin and teaches jazz history at the Jazz Institute Berlin. In 2015, Kampmann was awarded the Prize for German Jazz Journalism. In 2016, he published his book Jazz – Eine Geschichte von 1900 bis übermorgen (Jazz – A history from 1900 to the day after tomorrow) and the novel Schuhbrücke.
