Heather Leigh
In 2016, Heather Leigh was described by Cameron Jamie as one of the most remarkable musical discoveries of the year in the American magazine Artforum. Originally from Texas and now living in Glasgow, the musician (steel guitar and vocals) has, among others, collaborated with the legendary Jandek, and has been playing with Peter Brötzmann as part of a duo for more than two years. They have released two albums together to date and a further one is planned for 2018. As a solo artist, she released Abused Animal on Editions Mego in 2015 and is currently working on a new solo album.
