Ilit Azoulay (born 1972, Jaffa) is an international artist of Moroccan origin. She lives and works in Berlin. Azoulay studied at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. Her work has been shown internationally in numerous institutions. Her solo exhibitions include projects at the Herzliya Museum of Contemporary Art, Israel (2014), the KW Institute for Contemporary Art, Berlin (2014), the CCA - Center for Contemporary Art, Tel Aviv (2019), the Museum der Moderne Salzburg (2024) and the Jewish Museum, New York (2024). Azoulay's works have been included in numerous international museum and private collections, including those of the Museum of Modern Art, New York, the Guggenheim Museum, New York, the LACMA, Los Angeles, the Hammer Museum, Los Angeles, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris, the National Gallery of Australia, Canberra, the Julia Stoschek Collection, Düsseldorf/Berlin, the Israel Museum, Jerusalem, and the Tel Aviv Museum of Art.
